Do You Offer Financing or Rent to Own?
We do not offer financing but we do have a Rent to Own Option that is provided by an outside company that specializes in this type of financing. They purchase the cabin that you choose from us and then rent it back to you. These affordable monthly payments and low down help you to get into a camping cabin. The cabin has to be portable so this would not apply to the Durango model or some of the other larger models. This is a true rent to own and you can cancel at any time and they will schedule to pick up the cabin. Contact us for more information.
Do You Obtain Building Permits?
No you are responsible for obtaining your own building permits. Each County has different restrictions and requirements so we advise you to contact your local County Building Inspector and ask them about what is needed to permit a shed. I promise you if you tell them that you want to get a permit for a Cabin or Camping Cabin they will tell you that it needs to be on a permanent foundation and inspected through the process and that it needs to be a minimum of like 600 sq ft or so. So just think of this as a Shed with a porch cause that is what it is.
What does it cost to have you build on site?
Building on site depending on the location of your property from our facility will typically run $300 per day. Most camping cabins can be built in 2 days. In addition we also charge what it would cost to deliver a cabin at $2.50 per mile one way, this covers transporting the materials to your job site. Each job is different so we will give you an estimate when you place your order. There are circumstances out of our control that can create delays such as not having the site prepared properly in advance.
Why don't you do Plumbing, Kitchens and Baths?
A portable building on pressure treated skids does not satisfy most Counties regulations for what is considered an RV or Park Model. To be this small It would have to have wheels and we just don't build on trailer frames. Our Camping Cabins are heavy duty quality built structures that are 12' to 14' wide as opposed to 8' for a trailer. Most Counties require that you have a structure that is at least 600 sq ft or larger, built on a permanent foundation and one that goes through the building, electrical and plumbing inspections to be considered a livable structure. We have built structures on permanent foundations installed prior to construction so check with us if you are considering this. You can however have basic electrical installed if it is built at our facility and delivered pre-made to your property. If we build onsite then you will need to hire a local electrician to do the electrical.
