Bernalillo County discusses building ‘tiny homes’ for homeless

SOON BE FILLED WITH TINY HOMES, FOR A GOOD CAUSE.

BERNALILLO COUNTY HELD IT'S FIRST COMMUNITY MEETING TONIGHT TO DISCUSS PLANS FOR THE 2 MILLION DOLLAR PROJECT.

THE VILLAGE WOULD PROVIDE HOUSING IN THE FORM OF "TINY HOMES" TO THE HOMELESS — IN HOPES OF GETTING THEM BACK ON THEIR FEET.

COUNTY COMMISSIONER DEBBIE O'MALLEY SAYS THE IDEA RESONATES WITH PEOPLE.

4:10 "These people are sleeping are sleeping on the street, their sleeping in parks.

You know thats just not right and the communities concerned about it and I think that's why their excited about this idea" 4:19 IF SUCCESSFUL, THE HOMES WOULD BE DONE BY NEXT WINTER.
